We cry out "Abba, Father"

Its astounding....we do not know God merely as our closest friend. Its closer than that. We know him as Father. This is what we are learning about thi coming Sunday as we look at Galatians ch.4.

“...God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave but a son, and as a son, then an heir through God.”

This is a big deal. Really big. God is exercising all his infinite strength to bless you, to keep and to make you infinitely happy....because he loves you as one of his own children. Why not spend some time talking to your Father today. Ask him to help you see how much he loves you. This is a prayer he loves to answer. In the meantime, I hope everyone who went had a fantastic time at the convention last weekend. I loved being together as a big church family, hearing about the new Vision for St Judes, and being challenged and encouraged from the scriptures. God was at work!
